Product Description
BOPP thermal laminating film is manufactured through multiple extrusion processes, first creating biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP), then coating with hot melt EVA adhesion. The manufacturing includes corona treatment to enhance surface tension (over 38 dynes), making the BOPP lamination roll suitable for paper substrates.

Customized thickness combinations available (15 micron to 32 micron, glossy and matte). Price by MT or square meter available.
BOPP Thermal Laminating Film is primarily composed of BOPP + EVA layers combined through extrusion coating process. The final film features BOPP film properties on one side and a heat-sensitive surface for dry lamination on the other. Available in glossy/transparent and matte/opaque classifications, with thickness ranging from 14micron to 32micron. Width options from 180mm to 1880mm and length from 150m (1 inch core, 25mm) to 4000m (3 inch core, 76mm).

BOPP Thermal Laminating Film requires a laminating machine (hot laminator) to melt the EVA layer onto substrates like paper. The film passes over a heated roller and adheres to paper under appropriate pressure. This process, also known as heat lamination, dry lamination, or hot lamination, is user-friendly and suitable for both small-scale and home applications.
- Adjust roller pressure and temperature according to paper and ink types
- Conduct small trial runs when using film for the first time or changing sizes
- Normal process temperature: 90°C-105°C (203°F - 221°F)
- Ensure ink is completely dry before laminating
- Store materials in low-temperature, dry environments
Factors affecting lamination quality:
- Metal ink usage
- Ink containing excessive wax, dried oil, adhesive, or silicon additives
- Overly thick ink application
- Insufficiently dried ink
- Excessively humid paper
- Too much surface powder
- One roll per carton
- Tens of rolls per pallet
- 10-12 pallets per 20ft container (approx. 13MT)
- 20-22 pallets per 40ft container (approx. 25MT)
- Seaports: Xiamen, Shanghai, Ningbo
- Airbags used for pallet protection during container loading
- Free testing samples available
- Standard sizes: 300/400mm × 100m/200m per glossy or matte roll
