Hot stamping foil is a kind of hot stamping material which is made by coating and vacuum evaporation on film base and adding a layer of metal foil. The thickness of hot stamping foil is generally (12,16,18,20)micron, standard roll is 640mm(width)*120m(length).   Hot stamping foil generally has five layers, inclouding the base film layer, release layer, color layer, aluminum layer and adhesive layer.   The base film layer is general use of 16μm thick biaxially oriented polyester film; the main role is to support attached to the top coating and easy hot stamping process when the continuous action. Kumar Labels hosted a technology sharing program, Navonmesh 2007-17, to celebrate ten years of company’s operations. Print suppliers, including Arconvert, Gallus, Kurz and Toyo-Arets, presented technological innovations in the label industry to brand owners attending at the event.   Anuj Bhargava, founder and chief executive officer at Kumar Labels, took the stage to announce its patented single release with two facestocks labelstock (SRTF). SRTF is a patented labelstock manufactured by Kumar Label’s partner company HassleFree Technologies. This technology sandwiches silicone liner between facestock that can be printed on both sides. Tempest Brewing has added hot stamping foil to some of it’s labels, such for it angel Brew product, brewed in collaboration with Naked Wines. Hot stamping foil has also been used on the labels for ‘The Old Fashioned’, a concept beer brewed to replicate the mouthfeel and flavor of the eponymous cocktail. Because of that, Tempest Brewing wanted it to have a modern take on a Bourbon label inspired design, so using textured paper, different fonts and hot foiling.   Hot stamping foil is a great tool for adding a special something to a label. The material of shrink film including POF,PE and PVC,different material have different shrinking effects. In addition, shrink film quality will also affect shrink efficiency.   Second:The speed of the shrink machine. The speed of shrink machince can be adjust base on product size, film material and thickness. Generally, the shrink effeciency can be improved by adjusting the speed at a certain temperature.   Third: temperature. Different material shrink film need different temperature. For example, the temperature of PVC shrink film is 110-130℃ ,PE shrink film is 150-180℃. Even in the same material shrink film, the quality of the film is different, and the contraction temperature is different.
