Causes and solutions:

 

1 Improper film pressure or temperature, should be properly adjusted pressure or temperature;

 

2 Dust and impurities on the printed or thermal laminating film shall ensure that the surface of the printed product and the thermal laminating film are clean. The film shall be placed in a clean and closed workshop.

 

Insufficient film adhesion and release

 

Causes and solutions:

 

1 The ink is not dry, the drying time of the print should be extended to ensure that the ink is completely dry;

 

2 Ink contains excessive amounts of paraffin, silicon, and other components, should replace the ink or choose a better adhesion of the pre-coated film;

 

3 The ink used is a metal ink, and the pre-coating film should be selected to increase the viscosity;

 

4 Ink ink layer thick, should control the thickness of the ink layer in the printing process or use tackified pre-coated film;

 

5 The surface tension of the printed product is insufficient, less than 36mN/m, the surface of the printed product should be treated before the film is coated to increase its surface tension to 38mN/m;

 

6 The amount of dust on the surface of the printed product (anti-adhesion) is too much, and the amount of dusting should be reduced appropriately;

 

7 The moisture content of the paper is too high. After the film is evaporating, the paper and the ink film are separated. The moisture content of the paper should be adjusted to the balance.

 

8 With high film speed, low pressure, and low temperature, the temperature of the film should be properly increased, the film pressure should be increased, and the speed of the film should be reduced.

 

9 The precoat film should have a new shelf life and should be replaced with a new one.

Causes and solutions:

 

1 When the film is unwound, the tension control at both ends of the unwinding is unbalanced and there are wavy edges. The unwinding tension should be properly adjusted to balance.

 

2 uneven pressure between the heating roller and the rubber roller, resulting in uneven film coating, should be properly adjusted between the pressure;

 

3 If the pressure of the rubber roller is too large, resulting in deformation of the pre-coated film, the pressure of the rubber roller should be properly reduced;

 

4 The surface of the rubber roller is damaged and uneven, and the rubber roller should be replaced with an intact one.
