Thermal lamination film is produced by multi extrusion coating lines. It consists of two layers: a plastic film base (primarily BOPP or PET film) and an adhesive glue layer (EVA). Thermal Lamination Film is also referred to as dry, hot, or heat lamination film.

Printing houses commonly use BOPP Thermal Lamination Film rolls for commercial and educational printing applications. It can also be used for graphic arts large format projects. The transparent film lamination, available in bright/shine/glossy or matte/dull finishes, is heated to provide protection on paper covers. The lamination process involves joining two or more layers to protect printed materials.
