3 Inch Core Pressure Sensitive Laminating Film , Soft Pet Polyester Film
bopp lamination film
,laminating plastic film
Product Description
Thermal lamination film becomes pressure sensitive when laminated to paper printings. For optimal results without shrinkage or bubbling, follow these parameters: compound pressure of 10-18 MPa, temperature range of 85℃ to 105℃ (185℉ - 221℉), and speed of 10-60 m/min.
Successful lamination depends on paper thickness. We recommend testing a small volume before mass production, especially for initial batches.
While 3-inch (76mm) cores are most common, 1-inch (25.4mm) cores are also available for home or school use. We supply both core sizes with respective roll lengths of 300 meters (1-inch) and 3000-4000 meters (3-inch).
As a professional manufacturer, we produce thermal lamination film with various surface finishes:
- Glossy
- Matt
- Soft touch
- Scratch resistant
- Digital/super bonding
- Embossed
- Metallized
- Laser/holographic
- 3D/lenticular
- Glitter/sparkle
All film types are supplied in roll format and work effectively with various printing methods, particularly offset printing. Compatible with paper weights including 80gsm, 125gsm, and 250gsm. Matt thermal lamination film performs exceptionally well with UV varnish and hot stamping applications.

Thermal lamination film is manufactured using multi-extrusion coating lines and consists of two layers: a plastic film base (primarily BOPP or PET) and an EVA adhesive layer. Also known as dry, hot, or heat lamination film.
Printing houses typically use BOPP thermal lamination film rolls for commercial and educational printing applications, as well as large-format graphic arts. The transparent film provides protective coating when heated onto paper surfaces.
Specific applications include:
- Textbook covers
- Brochures
- Leaflets
- Sweet boxes and diaries
- Shopping bags
- Cosmetics boxes
Lamination joins multiple layers to protect printed materials. A hot laminator (thermal lamination roller machine) melts the EVA adhesive onto paper surfaces. The film passes over a heated roller and adheres to paper under appropriate pressure.
This straightforward process is suitable for both industrial and small-scale/home applications. Also referred to as heat lamination, dry lamination, or hot lamination.
