High Surface Tension Thermal Lamination Film with Strong Adhesion Strength, Hot Melt Film
To achieve satisfactory results on printed paper during the laminating process, the lamination film must have strong adhesion strength with surface tension above 38 dynes and two sides corona treated.
Our company produces both BOPP Thermal Lamination Film and PET Thermal Lamination Film with double sides corona treatment valued up to 52 dynes.
For hot melting the EVA adhesive of thermal lamination film onto paper substrate, a heat laminator or thermal lamination roller machine is required. During the process, the film passes over a heated roller and under reasonable pressure sticks to the paper.

Thermal lamination film is produced by multi extrusion coating lines and consists of two layers: plastic film (mainly BOPP or PET film) and adhesive glue (EVA). Thermal Lamination Film is also called dry, hot or heat lamination film.
Lamination process joins two or more layers to protect prints. A hot laminator or thermal lamination roller machine is used to melt the EVA adhesive onto paper surface. During the process, the film passes over a heated roller and under reasonable pressure sticks to the paper. This process is easy to use and can be done at home for small applications. Sometimes called heat lamination, dry lamination, or hot lamination.
