When we are doing for commercial printings that usually requires wide format laminating, we use glossy or matt thermal lamination film to create additional value to a brand or promotions. With this protective thin film, we are allowed to continue a second process of spot UV varnishing or hot stamping. Our maximum roll width is 1880mm, suitable for wide format laminators with fast speed.

Thermal lamination film is produced by multiple extrusion coating lines. It is consisted of two layers. One is plastic film, of which mainly is BOPP or PET film, another layer is adhesive glue of EVA. Thermal Lamination Film is also called dry, hot or heat lamination film.

All the above types of thermal lamination film are at format of roll, or said laminate roll. Thermal lamination film is workable for different ways of printing, especially offset printing. It meets most paper or paperboard criteria, like 80gsm, 125gsm or 250gsm. Matt thermal lamination film is performing well at spot UV Varnish and hot stamping.

Lamination process is of joining two or more layers, aimed for protecting the prints. We need a hot laminator, or called thermal (heat,dry) lamination roller machine, to use Thermal Lamination Film by melting its EVA adhesive onto paper surface. During the process, the film is passed on a heated roller and under reasonable pressure it sticks to the paper. This process is easy to use and can be done in home for small applications. Sometimes, people also call it heat lamination or dry lamination or hot lamination.
