BOPP Thermal Lamination Film is a plastic thin film designed for paper lamination. It utilizes BOPP film as the base material layer and EVA as the heat-sensitive adhesive layer. These two layers are coated using high-speed co-extrusion laminating technology.

Primarily used by printing houses for commercial and school printing applications, BOPP Thermal Lamination Film is also suitable for graphic arts and large format printing. The transparent film lamination, available in bright/shine/glossy or matte/dull finishes, is heated to provide protective coating on paper covers. Common applications include:

The lamination process involves joining two or more layers to protect printed materials. A hot laminator (thermal lamination roller machine) is used to melt the EVA adhesive, bonding the BOPP layer to the paper surface. The film passes over a heated roller and, under appropriate pressure, adheres to the paper. This straightforward process can be performed in-home for small applications and is also known as heat lamination, dry lamination, or hot lamination.
